again another break of two days.. just bought 2 CDs, one dad paid, the other i paid with my own money. dad paid for Pink - Try This while I bought Blue - Guilty.. however, the Blue CD got some probs in the jewel case lohz, one of the joints broke off, the break looks quite nice and not like i broke it off, but problem is, i peeled off the protective plastic? can return or not? will have to do today or tmr because when i come back the one week return limit over liaoz.. need some advice

sorry hor.. been away for too long already. didn't have the chance to blog over the weekend as i was soooo busy looking for hotels in sydney. chum.. don't know how we're going to stay there u knoe. we're going off on THURSDAY evening and have YET to find a hotel.. what, sleep on the streets ah? dunno lahz.

yesterday was bro's first b'day party. ok, so it was my birthday also *HINT HINT*.. didn't get much presents, *HINT HINT*.. so it wasn't really great after all. only one model plane and an ang pow :-(

hi all.. been a while since i last typed sth.. have been on job attachment to underwater world the past few days.. quite enjoyable except for a little part today morning where we were told to get into a pool full of gunk IN OUR CLOTHES... urgh.. now that's gross.. we had to scrub and clean up the pool, while we were doing it we had fishes and a stingray swimming around us.. a bit dangerous no? well, here's what we did the past 2 days

Tues, 18 Nov

Arrived at Sentosa at 9am, got on the bus and off to Underwater World! Alice Long a little blur blur.. she was following the blue line bus everywhere it went though it made several detours. we arrived there, and were greeted by two ladies, a ms azizah and a not-so-nice indian.. forgot her name... do u think i even remotely bother to remember it? :X

we then had a talk on marine creatures and how they rescued a dugong, and then it was off to tour the oceanarium! we went around quite a few times.. after that was the curatorial department, and they showed us animals in quarantine, etc.. that was where we also had to jump into the gunk-filled pool (more of that later...)

time for lunch.. chiong all the way to BK at Ferry Terminal and then back again, to get to Dolphin Lagoon.. arrived just in time to watch the show, and it was quite nice watching the dolphins performing acrobatics.. and we got a chance to touch them later? the feeling was just.. so nice!! so soft and rubbery... followed by a tour to the fish kitchen where we watched how the staff prepare food for the dolphins.. time flew by so quickly and we soon began saying bye-byes to the staff..

then followed alice to reccie around Sentosa and hunt for caterer for bowling camp. we went round looking for the Sentosa chalets.. at least i had company in a form of another good pal.. looks like the bowlers can sleep quite well, after all, i had stayed there before. eventually we went out of sentosa and went to HBF hawker center to find a "chye-png" stall to cater for bowler's meals.. got treated to dessert some more.. thanks!!

reached home tired and shagged about 4+.. *yawns*

Wed, 19 Nov

OK, we went to Underwater World again where we had no idea on what we were supposed to do. intended to change clothes but decided not to (WRONG MOVE!).. we went to a pool filled with gunk and lots of fish, and a solitary stingray.. we were tasked with scrubbing a pool filled with tepid water up to waist level, thankfully it ended fast, but when we came out, my pants had some sort of funny greenish shit. don't tell me what it is, i DON'T INTEND to know anyway..

next we had to weed the compound, nothing really interesting there, what's next is still the best. we got the chance to feed the rays, but none of them would come by.. scared of us? now, some of us volunteered to clean the hawksbill turtle pen, and when we stepped in, it was spotless! so in the end we just gey-si and pretend to scrub while playing with the turtles.. hahah!!! i'm a lazy ass.. :P

we then did the surface feeding, dropped food into the pens, my hand had some fish smell after that.. but quite fun.. oddly enough no fishes came to eat the food.. thankfully i was the first to bathe and feel a totally new me.. heheh.. nasi lemak for lunch courtesy of alice.. yum and thanks. drinks are so ex at Sentosa tho.. a can of orangina cost $2!! extortion!! extortion!! well, at least ms za treated us to some drinks (which i suspect were free from the restaurant, but who cares!)

headed to dolphin lagoon after that. me n yansheng became ushers for the day.. we were tasked with stapling admission tickets together to check the accounts.. finished around 1345 hrs and went to join the rest, who were tasked with preventing the folks watching the show from stepping out to take pics..

show over, we became ushers again and i had to sanitize the hands of the folks wanting to take photos with the dolphin jumbo.. spray spray spray until my hands quite pain :D after that had to do some heavy work, moving some pipes around to connect a filtration system to the dolphin pens.. that's when something happened.. one of the underwater world technicians, while tightening a nut, hit his head with a spanner, and had a huge gash.. blood was flowing all over.. we stood there dunno what to do..

eventually a stretcher was sent for, the poor guy was stretchered into the office where the bleeding was tried to be put under control. since everyone was so concerned about him, we had nth to do and were eventually dismissed early by alice. ambulance came soon after we were dismissed and the guy was sent for stitches, i think..

verdict : quite fun, i won't mind going if they eliminate the gunk-filled pool part..

holidays really nth much goin on.. besides going out which i think the details will bore u, it's just been sitting at home staring at the comp.. staring at the comp.. and more staring. really too tired to do anything more.. :-( been very unmotivated lately.. dunno why i can't bring myself to do any hw. is it because of 4 days of long hours last week? i dunno! i just dun have the enthusiasm to clear hw like that of the first week of hols... grr.. what's wrong with me?

haiz.. this week is practically a school week, i've been cooped up in school from 8am to about 5pm daily, add maths in morning till about 12+ then history from 2-5 pm. which reminds me.. i owe chansey homework.. in fact, EIGHT, yes, EIGHT, SEQs on Russia due by 11.59pm tonight.. hmm.. how to finish? see how lohz.. maybe tmr morning chiong history the whole time.. perhaps pon maths..

today damn sienz.. yesterday reach home at almost 7pm, we had history till 6pm.. damn it. i'd rather sch take the first two wks of holidays than make us suffer for first few weeks of holiday. one thing good though i'm totally free next week.. catch up on homework and maybe schedule some trips out.. need to go out.. can't be cooped up at home and sch right? history was ok.. but i feel very tired after the four hours of maths... at least today had company for lunch, zhang and jerrick tagged along to my house.. had quite enjoyable lunch.. and ALICE LONG dismissed us early! we ended at 11.30am instead of 12.30pm today!

for me still quite heng.. i should be able to keep all my subjects next yr.. woohoo! unlike keefe.. aww poor thing..





sienz.. just came back from maths lesson, later still got history.. sux man.. this is so tiring.. it's like a full school day.. as promised here is a long long long story of my trip to malacca.. expect one for sydney as well :D

woke up at 7 plus though i slept at 12 the previous night.. packing like siao.. we were supposed to set off at 9.30am but due to various delays, etc, left the house at 11am.. after a three hour drive we reached the hotel and then me and my mom went shopping for groceries at the shopping mall next door.. by the time we went back to hotel it was time for dinner, so we went out for some buffet thing.. quite a good dinner imo.. reached hotel at around 10pm, went to sleep, so tired..

saturday 08/11/2003

really enjoyed myself. had breakfast and after that went go-karting at the circuit just next to the hotel.. it was so damn fun.. driving that little 90cc go-kart around the place at such a high speed, was going so fast the bumps on circuit felt so pronounced and a strong wind was blowing at my face!! way cool..

after go-karting had lunch at shopping center.. and spent the rest of afternoon there, buying clothes and other essential stuff for sydney trip.. never have i shopped for so long before.. considering i detest shopping like hell. shopping done, we went to collect the car for a drive to the beach.. a little waste of time but the various bazaars along the coast looked so attractive.. on the way back we saw a little of some float parade..

dinner at hotel.. a waste of my mom's money imo.. the food wasn't very good, it was quite shitty compared to dinner the previous night.. wasted almost S$150 on this dinner.. ugh..

after having breakfast began packing and getting ready to check out, left hotel by 11.45am, went to a hypermart to do lots of grocery shopping and have lunch.. you should have seen the car when we returned home, every nook and cranny filled with luggage / shopping bags / all sorts of other rubbish..

gd morning all. day 4 of sch holidays. will do some more hw probably in afternoon, finish up chem and finish amaths/emaths part II. really must do work or else surely cannot finish by the end of yr.. then first day of sch will copy from other classmates. heheh.. CANNOT COPY!!! it's for my own good really

holidays extremely sienz lehz.. very rarely meet up with classmates during this 2 mths of break lohz. at least can somewhat slack at home.. i dun mind that really, but also wanna go out of the house, provided mom allows me, given my shitty like shit results. hehehe.. legs itching to go out..

2-5 bbq next tuesday. the prob is, i got history till 1630hrs, dunno if got time to rush there or not.. rumoured that all our teachers going lohz, danny, sook yee, pearl, gky, etc etc.. not that i mind.. i'm just worried i can't go there in time, that is, if i can even go in the first place.. hope to go. must contribute $10 or sth to eat.. maybe beers? :D

funny.. yesterday cannot post anything.. blogger didn't seem to work lohz.

over the weekend i bought another new CD, it's stacie orrico's self-titled album, another worth-buying CD, this time i used my own money to buy.. first time i did so.. normally my CDs are bought by my dad.. $18.90.. a little "heart-pain" but nvm!

over the weekend it seems like my mom buay song me lohz.. juz cause i failed 3 subjects and mushroom wrote some stupid comment in my report bk.. she has been "tao"ing me for the past few days.. bloody fuck.. like it's my fault i failed 3 subjects. i wanted to tell her.. u go n do the papers n see if u can pass? she said "my exams are over".. yah, so? i think she dun even understand our shituation now lohz..

november holidays more-or-less taken up by loads of extra lessons, plan to finish all my holiday hw by 26th november.. i got 23 days to do so.. because after that i'll be in sydney till 7th dec.. and then dec also all taken up.. got that "media production experience" activity.. haiz..
