helloo all. orientation is over ): somewhat sad though but at least my timetable for this week is slack. shall summarize what happened on orientation night i guess. quite an eventful day for me (:
started off with house meeting. in some house called (shit i forgot). oh wells. house meeting followed by a continuation of the orientation story. and games thereafter. got ourselves filthy since it was the last day of orientation (ahh it won't hurt). muddy, grassy and all that. first game we played involved tying balloons to our legs and bursting that of the opponents (urgh mine burst on the grass S: ) yepps. after that, we got ourselves muddy because we had to crawl on wet grass under tennis nets. we had to stay below the nets. ended up with muddy shirt, hands, feet and everything exposed.. hosed down after that.
played a game involving eggs, papayas and whatelse? i forgot S: not too bad. not very dirty. showered after that and went to meet my class teacher (oh yes, i'm in 1SD6 doin bio, chem, maths and econs ) and other new classmates. not a bad lot i guess. everyone's been great so far.
after that we went on an OG outing! played pool at this place called "pool junction" along middle road. second time playing pool for me while most of the other guys in my OG were like pros S: played pool till 6pm, when we had to rush back to AC for campfire. ended up late by about 5 mins but who cares. campfire was good. a lot of funny acts by the different mother OGs. all the events and festivities were great. enjoyed myself.
everything ended at around 10.45pm and soon it was time for mass dances! we had two songs this year, superstar by jamelia and blame it on the boogie by jackson five (apparantly). danced till like 11.30pm and then it was time to go. bid adieu to the OG people whom i got to know much better during these five days. well, i'll still see them around in school i guess. and my classmates are a great bunch (1SD6 2005, u rock! :D:D )
